The weekend of April 13th to 15th Dwayne was invited to speak at a youth retreat in Pelotas. They had a huge turn out of close to 60 people altogether. The past few years the numbers had been down around 20 to 30 so this was bigger than the leaders had expected, but of course God planned it all in advance so he was well prepared and new exactly who would be there. The group ranged from ages 13 -32 with us being the 32's.Dwayne spoke on dreams for the sessions which is not a reality that most of these kids have. Most live in a world that if you don't have money your dreams could never come true so why bother. This was one of the areas that God spoke through Dwayne that no matter what your circumstances are now, God is bigger, and if it is a dream given to you by God he will always provide a way to fulfill that dream in your life. We don't know what will come of what was spoken but we trust that the seeds that were planted will birng forth fruit in the lives of these young people.
Jasper after a busy day of playing outside and burning up her fuel crashed hard, and as you can see it didn't really matter how she slept, she managed to refuel for the next day!!
Jessi decided that Jasper has been getting too much attention with all of her scrapes and bruises so she joined in on the crash and fall on your face plan. She managed to get a scrape on her nose and cheek as well as a fat lip and was pointing it out for you all to see!

At the end of the weekend the group presented us with this painting by our friend's mom called 'Missao cumprida' which means mission accomplished. It is a Gaucho or cowboy as we would say in Canada that has finished his work. And although we may finish a work, God is always working in our lives and in yours as well.
